The action ‘Placed under Protection’ refers to the past practice of putting ‘Keep off the grass’ signs on lawns. The aim of the action is to strengthen values, to invoke our individuality, uniqueness and sensitivity. Key words include: quiet, dignity, friendship and trust.

Maria Parczewska
Psychologist, educator, designer, curator at the Centre for Contemporary Art in Warsaw. Following her long experience as a  therapist and visual artist, in 1990 she co-founded the Laboratory of Creative Education at the Centre for Contemporary Art. The project is aimed at professional educators, therapists, rehabilitation centre workers, cultural and artistic educators. She conducts creative workshops, lectures, specialised trainings; collaborates with numerous institutions in Poland and Europe. For 15 years she has been involved in designing and running a specialisation program ‘Culture Animation’ at the Institute of Polish Culture at the University of Warsaw; she also collaborates with the Jagiellonian University and Wyższa Szkoła Pedagogiki Resocjalizacyjnej Pedagogium in Warsaw. Author of publications and articles on the subject of cultural animation and creativity. Designer of books, posters and art publications.
