Our traditional graphic technique workshop will be preceded by a research walk with a photographic focus — to take a close look at our city. The architecture, as well as its surroundings, will be our inspiration and a starting point in the process of designing original greeting cards. Our pictures will be based on simple graphic techniques, such as linocut or texture printing. With pre-prepared matrices and other elements, we will be able to make multiple copies of our images – original cards that will be distributed in the BWA gallery. During the sessions, we will become familiar with the basic tools, materials and principles of graphic printmaking.
This workshop is suitable for youngsters and adults.
Please bring along a camera (however, the one you have on your mobile phone may prove to be good enough).
If you happen to be in possession of old postcards of our city, please bring them with you.
