Urszula Broll ‘Only sounds are as warm as butterflies — a moth sealed in a bell-shape is rubbing its white body against a metal

Urszula Broll — book about her painting and life ‘I'm in close touch with my works, I create them actually for myself, inorder to learn what I don't know about myself… In silence, in...

… I'm blending dust and gold — feathers, burnt to ashes, are swinging wooden chimes — an hour, like a peacock, is opening purples — clock hands, cast in sharp nails, can no longer hurt the sun — cross-shaped, in the air, they will swing the stretched shadow — white stones of the sleep of the just.”
